"Alone"

Hey Guiz haha

So I was sitting last night literally about to go to the bathroom, and this tune popped into my head. So I started humming it, and humming it, and slowly words started to pop into my head, and so I went and wrote it down, and this morning I completed my wond’rous work of art. So I thought I would post it here for all of you lovely people to read and admire. Haha so here it is. :)

V1: There’s a girl-hotel room, tears stain her cheeks.

Hasn’t seen her mom or dad in weeks

They told her then they’d be “just a couple hours”

Now she’s stuck by their grave leaving flowers.

Chorus: Where she has gone, where she will hide,

There are demons inside.

There’s nowhere left for her to run

They come in from every side.

All that she had is gone away

V2: There’s a boy on a cliff, blood on his wrists

Things Guys Do That Frustrate Girls

Hey, guys, and girls alike. :) How are you all today?

Well I got the results for the survey-type thing I did. And I have to say, the girls were a whole lot more receptive than the guys were. I definitely got a lot more from the girls than the guys. I think I will do the girl’s post today, and then tomorrow, I will do the one about things girls do that drive guys crazy. :)

Okay, so Here’s what I got. Guys, listen up. These are the things you do that frustrate girls :)

1. Whine incessantly about their problems. They deserve a chance to talk, but they aren't the only ones who have feelings. If you would like to tell us about your day, please feel free, but if there is an obvious way to fix your problems, and you are not willing to do it, then please, just don’t talk about it.
2. Being too negative. Again, talking about things you are unwilling to fix, and just talking negatively in general.
3. Disappearing for no reason. Like if you are leaving, please come say goodbye. Unless you are upset with us for some reason. In that case, please let us know so that we can fix it! Because I don’t know about other girls, but I know that if a guy doesn’t talk to me for a long period of time after talking to me like every night, I am going to assume that there is something wrong with either you, or me :P
4. Being desperate. Like always saying "I need a GF". Okay, come on, guys. All of you should know that you never EVER talk about another girl when you are talking to one. That’s just. No. Just stay away from that one. And constantly saying you need a GF is worse because you never know how the girl you are talking to feels about you, so you really need to just be careful what you say.
5. On the extreme opposite, when a guy likes you and they can't accept that you like/are in a relationship with someone else. Once we are out of a relationship, feel free to do what you want, but when you make it obvious that you don’t accept our current relationship status, that’s just not ok. Not only does it make us feel the need to make a choice between two excellent male-friends, but it also is just annoying.
6. When they have to text all day everyday. No. Don’t do it. Guy or girl, actually, just...no.
7. When we write something long and thoughtful and get a short response back, or just an 'ok'. Or when somebody didn't respond for days, or not at all. That’s just annoying. No one likes that, really. Come on. If you are going to start a conversation, then keep it going!!! Don’t just leave us hanging. Once there was this guy that I texted, and I literally waited until 1:00AM for him to respond. He never did. Like...that’s just not ok. :P
8. Mess with our look. Nope.
9. Lastly, when we are talking to you, literally pouring out our heart to you, and you give the impression that you don’t even care. That makes us feel unwanted. Also, when you make us feel unwanted. That’s not cool, guys. The same goes for girls too, actually.

So yeah, there’s today’s post. Hopefully by tomorrow, I will have more response from the guys. :)

Guy Probs

So this is not going to be about dating advice, and stuff-simply the fact that GUYS ARE SO CONFUSING!

Like seriously! They like you, they don’t like you, they think you’re weird. I mean, and they think WE have mood swings? Come on. The biggest mood swings I have are hungry/not hungry. I eat like all.the.time.

But really??

And my guy friends apparently talk about me when I am gone. It’s ridiculous. Like, I’ll text one of them about something that happened that day, or something that bugs me, and he will be all like “yeah, that’s what we thought.” Like...what? Like…”we”? What is this word you speak of? Haha I don’t know. I think it’s weird. And like you know how most guys love getting pictures from girls? Well I send one, and all of a sudden no one will talk to me. Not like...porn. Like a selfie. It’s kinda odd. Maybe it’s just my friends, but I would like to hear all of your guy probs, too. I will probably make a post here pretty soon about things guys do that drive girls crazy  if I get enough comments/emails. Then, I will do one about the girls-even though I am a girl. Haha I know that there are lots of things that we do that bug guys.

Heroism Essay

Hello, my lovelies :)

So I had to do this for school, and I thought it turned out pretty well :)

Heroism

This last few weeks, I read three different stories about heroism. I am supposed to compare and contrast their different kinds of heroism, and how great I thought they were, but....what I really think is that everyone has their own type of heroism. They all also have their own evils.

Gwaine was strong and he was truthful, and he was brave, and these days, people would call that heroism, but the fact that he was brave proves that he was not a hero. If he was not scared at all, then how could it have meant anything? For all we know, Gwaine could have just been performing his yearly yule-tide, and defeating more monsters. Yeah, it was great that he solved the riddle, but if he was not scared to death, it didn’t mean anything. So I think that he did have a certain kind of heroism.

Beowulf. The medieval picture of a hero. And-if I am completely truthful-mine too. He was scared at first, but he was still strong, and he had a code. He cared for people who didn’t belong to him, and even people he didn’t know. He did what he loved to his very last breath.

The Knight. We never really hear what all he did, we hear a description, but that is it. It says he was brave, truthful, strong, handsome, and not too bad among the ladies, either. It tells us that he went around on adventures, and helping others, slaying dragons.

In conclusion, I think that all of the people we read about are good men. They were-in reality-heros. Just like everyone. Just like me, and you, and really everyone. Because no matter where we come from, what we look like, or how we talk, we all have our own accomplishments whether it is killing monsters, or living our day to day life even though we are scared to death.  A hero to me isn’t someone who can face anything anytime. People like that will fall, and they will fall hard. A hero to me is someone who knows when to trust others to take care of them. When to stand up, and when to back down. When to celebrate, and when to gather rest and peace. Because we all have our own troubles, we all have our own lives, and we all at times are scared beyond belief.

We all have our own dragons to slay. We just need to know when to slay them and when to let them go.

New OUAT Episodes

Debate Update and Prayer Requests

Hello, everyone. Blessings to you from God.

So the debate is getting rather heated. Sometimes I think I have gotten in over my head, but I know that it is all worth it. A few more people have joined the conversation, and it is...interesting to see everyone’s opinions. Admittedly, I get frustrated with a few of the new people, but I am trying to see things from their POV.

One of the things that is getting to me is the fact that many of the people who have commented expect me to give short answers to novel/essay answer questions. It is pretty aggravating. But I can do this! :)

I have been super tired lately. Other than the debate (which I know many of you are probably tired of by now) I have been working a couple part-time jobs, and I started a class, so between all those, the debate, and school, I am pretty whooped. Thanks so much for your time!! It really means tons.

Some things that you can pray about for me:

• Wisdom with this debate!! Like I said, there are some rough waves out there, so prayers would be appreciated. :)
• A couple friends of mine are in need of prayer. D as always, is still resisting Christ, but I think he is coming along. K needs some too. Umm my friend H is dealing with some depressed friends, so she could really really use some prayer.
• My church life. Our church is struggling with some things-like all churches do. One of them being only one pastor. We are having a congregational vote on sunday, so prayer would be awesome.
• Me in general. Work, school, training, a second job, the debate, it’s all running me down a bit. Also, strength to keep going in the great race. That I would constantly be reminded that God is in control.
• Family life. Every family can use prayer. Budgets, classes, jobs, attitudes, it all adds up to family agitation. So please pray for us. :)

If you can think of anything else, please pray for it! I am tired and so I am sure that I forgot something.

Here’s another poem I found while reading a theology book.

“I sought the Lord, and afterward I knew

He moved my soul to seek him, seeking me.

It was not I that found, O savior true,

No, I was found of thee.

Thou didst reach forth thy hand and mine enfold;

I walked and sank not on the storm-vexed sea,-

‘Twas not so much that I on thee took hold,

I don’t know, it just sounded kind of pretty and I liked it. It is pretty realistic. If you want to read it for yourself in the book, it’s in A New Systematic Theology of the Christian Faith. It is by Dr. Robert L. Reymond.

And update on the debate: So, I logged on today, and there was a lot that went on last night to read through. It seems like prototypep4 has a constant defense. When he gets angry, or if he knows  that he is beaten, he will insult both me and SK. He calls us stupid, and unintelligent, and tells us that we belong in mental hospitals. He called SK a pedophile, and the whole thing is pretty exhausting. It was exciting at first, I felt like I was at the center of everything. Like if I won over this guy, everything would be better. I still plan to follow through with this, but it is getting more exhausting as the days go on. I am glad I have someone to back me up, though.

Please pray for me, and for SK. I don’t know if he is as tired as I am, but I sure hope he doesn’t give up on it, because I won’t.

Debate Update: excitement and Stress

Hello, everyone :)

So here’s today’s update on what’s going on with the “debate” of sorts.

I logged on today and prototypep4 had not yet replied to my own and my ally (SK’s) comments.

So I can infer that either prototypep4 has backed down under evidence, or he has not yet seen the comments.

I have to admit that all of this has been both exciting and stressful at the same time. All the research and such, however, has been extremely enlightening. I have learned a lot more about religion than I knew before.

'The Great Debate'

Hello, everyone :)

How has your week been so far?

I have had a very...therapeutic...or...educational week.

I am attempting to prove to an atheist the existence of God. This atheist has admitted to being open to the idea of a deity-whether or not it is God-but he requires proof from me. I would like some help. I would love some help from all of you. I really would. I am doing my best, partially the result of my father’s theology teaching, and partly the result of Persuasions by Douglas Wilson. I think I have him where I want him, but he refuses to tell me ultimately what he believes about creation. First he implied that he believed in the big bang and evolution, but then several comments later, he said he does not believe in creation! How can you not believe that there was ever creation? So either he believes that all of this always was, or he believes that he doesn’t know-in which case he is an agnostic-even if he doesn’t know that he is. He has said that he is an atheist, but all proof points to an agnostic. There are three different kinds of agnostic. The first says “I don’t know, but I wish I did.” the second says “I don’t know, and I don’t care.” the last says “I don’t know, you don’t know, and nobody can know.”. I am thinking at this point that the person is the last.

I do really want to hear your opinions on this matter. I could use some help, and even if not, I like hearing opinions on this type of thing.

I am sorry if the last few posts have been boring in your mind, but I am really dedicated to this. My sister told me today that I should just give up, and I said to her that if there is even a small itty bitty chance that God can use me to change this man, than I am going to take it.

I am not in this to prove that I know more than this man, I am in it to prove that all of us is aware that there is a God, all of us is aware that there are morals, all of us is aware-deep down-that we need help. I just need to pry deep enough to let him show himself. I am going to keep pursuing this. I am. I will probably keep sending updates.
